Obituary of Leota Isbill
It is with sadness that the family of Leota Myrtle (Totton) Isbill, wife of the late Edwin (Ted) Isbill of Kiersteadville, NB, announce her death which occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, on April 23, 2016. She was born on February 14, 1923, in Salmondale, NB, the daughter of the late George and Pearl (McBride) Totton.
Leota is survived by her children Basil and Jeannie Isbill of Springfield, Pearl and Bob McLaughlan of Belleisle Creek, Shirley and Gary Belyea of Shepody, and Carol Reicker of Kiersteadville; nine grandchildren Andrew, Chris, Katrina, Candice, Robby, Dwayne, Bradley, Sonya and Tammie; fifteen great grandchildren Aiden, Cameron, Kirsten, Emily, Jacob, Elisa, Spencer, Carter, Daniel, Kyra, Parker, Cody, Courtney, Rhoan, Grayson, Adam and Aaron; five great-great grandchildren Nevaeh, Mika, Deegan, Jaimme and Paisley. She is also survived by her sister Velma DeLong; brother Oakely Totton; sisters-in-law Linda Totton and Florence Totton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ted; sister Velzora Ravn and brothers Willis, Gerald, Basil, George, Verne and Garnet; sisters-in-law Rosalie, Jane, Mildred, and Mary Totton; brothers-in-law Harry DeLong and Olaf Ravn.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. At Leota’s request there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place in Midland Cemetery at a later date.
