Obituary of Laurence Laffoley
Rev. Laurence (Larry) Victor Laffoley of Wickham, New Brunswick went to be with the Lord April 4th, 2016. He died peacefully at his home.
Larry leaves behind his beloved wife Christiane, his two daughters Laurie and Tammie, son Sheldon, grandchildren Curtis, Taycie, Kaitlyn Brittany, Tanner, Brandie, Devanie, and Dawson along with several great grandchildren: Claire, Parker, Alexsa, Kaiden, Konner, Brayden, Cheyanne, Cullen, Imogen, Rachel, Marcus, James and Avery. Survived by his sister Muriel (Nee Bagley) predeceased by his parents Victor Franklin and Marion and brother Ivan.
Larry was born August 24th 1931 on the Island of Grand Manan. In October 1963 he was ordained and gave his life to the ministry, affecting many people's lives. Larry was a forerunner with the Word, and became a father and a mentor to many. He was well known for the revelation of Colossians 1:27 "To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory".
He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Family and friends will be celebrating the memories and life of Larry at a Memorial Service Thursday April 7th, 2016 at Maranatha Christian Assembly, 2:00 pm, 10 Days Rd, Wickham, NB, with Rev Don Carpenter Officiating. Luncheon to follow service.
