The death of Sarah Pearl Thompson, age 83, of Sussex Corner, NB, occurred on December 13, 2015, at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB. She was the wife of the late Russell Thompson. Sarah was born on January 16, 1932, in Yarmouth, NS, the daughter of the late Everett and Beatrice (Beaks) O’Connell. Sarah is survived by her sons Brookes O’Connell and daughter-in-law Linda of Yellowknife, NT and Shaughn and Kim Thompson of Rusagonis, NB; grandchildren Andrew, Cindy Josh and Jesse; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Ruth Garron, Edith O’Connell, Helen Morrow, Hilda Boudreau and Leta Deveau; brothers Sanford O’Connell, James O’Connell, Stillman Sisco, Murray Sisco and George Sisco. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 19, 2015, from Kingdom Hall, 1155 Main Street, Sussex Corner.
