It is with sadness the family of Hedley "Sedley" David Vail, age 81, of Belleisle Creek, NB, husband of the late Eileen Vail, announces his death which occurred at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB, on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. He was born on March 30, 1934, at Belleisle, NB, a son of the late Hedley and Ester (Scarlett) Vail. Sedley is survived by his son David (Cheryl) Vail of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB; daughters; Patty (Tracy) Crews of Belleisle Creek, NB, Heather (Stephen) Neill of Hatfield Point, NB; grandchildren Katie (Travis) Washburn, Cody (Danielle) Hayes, Justin (Ashley) Neill, Ashley Vail, Jenna Vail; great-grandchildren Ava, Hannah, Jacob, Hunter, Jace, Kinley, Marissa; brother Randall (Glenna) Vail; sister Marie Mason; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Clifford Vail; sisters Marion Kellow, Irene Smith and Etta Vail. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), Norton, NB. A private family service conducted by Rev. Preston Mowry, will take place in Union Cemetery. Donations in memory of Sedley may be made to Union Cemetery or to the charity of the donor's choice.
