Obituary of Brenda Munro

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of Brenda Jean Munro, age 63, wife of Norman Munro, of Kiersteadville, NB, which occurred at her residence, on August 16, 2015. She was born in Stanley, NB, on April 17, 1952. She is the daughter of Kenneth and Jean Newell of Springfield. Brenda will be remembered for her strong work ethic and her determination to complete everything to the best of her ability. She raised three boys, worked fulltime, and attended university on a part-time bases, completing her degree in May of 1999, graduating with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Data Analysis, 1st Division. She had a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful flower gardens, sewing, knitting, needle point and photography. She enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending weekends with her husband, and friends, boating on the Saint John River. Brenda cherished her husband, children and grandchildren unconditionally. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Brenda is survived by her husband Norman; sons Matthew and Angie, Andrew and Nicholas and Melanie; grandchildren Nora, Evan, Lylah and Kate; mother-in-law Rita Munro; brother Terry and Carolyn Newell; sisters Linda and Mike Bailey, Joyce and Vernon Munro and Heather and Glenn Totton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father-in-law Joe Munro. A public Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held from 4 to 8 pm, on Friday, August 21, 2015, at the Belleisle Community Center. A private funeral service will be held. Memorial donations in memory of Brenda may be made to the Midland Cemetery, the Cystic Fibrosis Society or donor’s choice.
