To Sherrill's children, grandchildren and extended family,
We were sad to read of your Mother's passing, all of you will miss her beyond measure.
Sherrill lived her life with faith, hope and love and faced life's issues with grace and dignity.
Now she is reunited with her 'Beloved George' and meet her Lord and Savior whom she loved very much, what a joyful reunion that will be.
You're Mother was very kind to our late Son, Kirk, always sending or coming to our home with words of Love, compassion and notes of encouragement and special coloring sheets which Kirk appreciated, she was kind, thoughtful and prayed for Kirk often.
A couple of memories, One one occasion we had George and Sherrill for supper, keeping in mind Sherrill's concern with sugar,We had a full coarse meal and a light dessert for her and two kinds of pie, lemon and apple, We asked her what she would like to have, she replied, 'pie please; a piece of each. We weren't sure what to do under the circumstances and looked to George for some kind of answer, he gave us the nod of OK, she enjoyed the pie and everyone enjoyed a happy non-incident evening. Another memory is being invited to her home, she was a gracious host, a beautiful baker and cook and we were ushered into the dining room, no sitting in the kitchen for us.
You're mother spoke often of all of you, she was always so proud of all your accomplishments, she had so much Love and affection for all of you. If you wanted to put a smile on her face, just ask her about her children. It's hard losing a Mother,
but a Mother carries her children in her heart forever.
Please accept our sympathy in your loss, Sending Love and Hugs for comfort to all in the coming days.
Love Jane and Blaine Warman

Sorry to be reading of Sherrill's passing. She is in a better place now and reunited with George. I had many visits up to Gibbon Mt always tagging along to visit your grandparents. I enjoyed those visits and the humour that the Chown's seem to be known for. I knew your Mom to be kind, loving and quite funny herself. She and George had a great family full of love. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

'Weeping endure a night , but, joy comes in the morning.'
It's been a long night for Sherrill. Brian and I are so glad she has entered that new morning of joy.
It was a privilege to have Sherrill in our congregation when we served at the Collina Baptist Church. She was a fit partner for George, working beside him. Their Home was a light, their Pond a place of quiet reflection, fun and celebration.
Sherrill often shared her heart, her history and her art. Reading through old publications of the NB Genealogical Society within the last year, it was a privilege to entcounter articles written by her. She has not been forgotten these last few years while she struggled with poor health. The absence of visits from us is not at all reflective of the feelings toward one of whom we thought highly of and dearly loved. Such faith, such love, a wonderful example to us.
Our sympathy to her family who she always held close in her heart.
Brian and Gail Steeves
