Obituary of Allan Bickerton

It is with great sadness that the family of Allan Thomas Bickerton announce his passing which occurred on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Parleeville, NB, on March 12, 1932, he was the son of the late Arthur and Amy (Cox) Bickerton.

Allan is survived by his children: Daryl Bickerton of Sussex, NB, Gary Bickerton (Wendy Hogan) of Sussex, NB, and Chris Bickerton (Linda) of Parleeville, NB; grandchildren: Valri (Jonathan), Steven, Josh (Jennifer), and Zaelis; great-grandchildren: Amelia, Lily, Lexi, and Thomas; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, Allan was predeceased by his wife Viola Bickerton (Pollock), brother Gordon Bickerton and sister Helen Finley,

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB where visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. A funeral Service will be held 2:00pm on Tuesday, March 3^rd  at the Apohaqui Community Church (78 Route 880, Apohaqui, NB). A private family interment will take place in the spring at Riverbank Cemetery, Riverbank, NB.
