Obituary of Mark Gee

It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of Mark Winston Gee which occurred on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Mark was born in Saint John, NB, on May 11, 1975, a son of Lela (Belyea) Gee and the late Arnold Gee.

Mark is survived by his mother Lela Gee (Terry Daniels) of Winsor Forks, NS; his daughter, Rebecca Gee of Springfield, NB; sister Ruth Dodsworth (Kevin) of Quispamsis, NB; nieces: Dana Dodsworth (Jarvis) and Leah Dodsworth (Alex); nephew Keaton Dodsworth; Rebecca’s mother, Joanna McLaughlin; his four-legged companion, Bailey; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Besides his father Arnold, Mark was predeceased by his step- sister Shirley Gee.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), Norton, NB where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 11:00am, with a reception to follow. A burial will take place in the spring at Salt Springs Cemetery.
