My deepest condolences to your family during this time. Richard was an amazing person and I know he will be so very missed by many. I'll be thinking of you all and the memories I have of him - especially the one when he called me a "torndao" which was warranted as I accidently broke a shoe rack and was a notoriously clumsy kid. Bonnie, you were such a big part of Richard's life and the legacy of love that he left with you is a beautiful thing that I know you will treasure always.
Kyle and Brody, your father left you a wonderful example of what a true Christian father should be. The integrity, faithfulness to his Lord and to all of those he loved, that fine example he left to you with his kindness towards others is something that will guide you always.
Richard always seemed to be able to sense who needed help and was there to provide it to the best of his ability. His love for the Lord was so evident in his daily life. The impact that Richard made on so many lives will live on and not only in your hearts but the hearts of all the others his life has touched.

Richard, I remember when he was driving the youth vans, there are many stories from going to the Balloon Fiestas or Youth Events or even just going out to sussex after church... my most memorable one though is, when you were telling us about almost hitting a "porky dog" we were laughing and asked, "porky dog? What is a porky dog?" Of course it was a Porcupine. I still use that term "porky dog" to this day.
Prayer warrior, good influence, kind, always checking in when I saw him. Sad to hear you're gone, but happy you're with the King of Kings. Going to miss seeing your familiar friendly face when I was up to Sussex for a bite to eat or at Canadian tire, I'd see you go down one aisle and finally meet at the cashier.
You were, and still are a loved man, Glad I knew you.
