Obituary of Paul Bourque
It’s with heavy hearts that the family announce the sudden passing of Paul Francis Bourque on November 21, 2025. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick on July 25, 1950. Paul was the son of the late Ivan Bourque and Eileen (Breau) Bourque.
Paul was an active fisherman; he loved to spend any day fishing with his family. When not fishing he enjoyed driving to his granddaughter ‘s baseball games, car washes and looking for the next good fishing spot. Known for making his famous fudge along with his incredible sense of humor.
Paul is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years Debbie (Gionet) Bourque; sons Gene (Lori) Bourque of Fairfield, NB, Paul (Autumn) Bourque of Regina, SK, Brent (Amanda) Gionet of Norton, NB; grandchildren Devon, Dylan, Lily, Addison, Chloe, Shyan, Jayden, Paige, Rosie; great-granddaughter Nora; along with his sister Carol (Charles) Bourque of Moncton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents, Paul was also predeceased by his sisters Theresa Bourque and Linda O’Blenis.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center (506-839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. In keeping with Paul’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service at this time.
