Dear Kathy, Heather , Rob, Andrew, Debbie and Families, We were saddened to hear of the loss of your dear Dad, but happy to know he is at his eternal rest with the Lord Jesus Christ, who he served so faithfully for his life. I remember fondly our move to Norton and the Taylor family welcoming us so warmly into the church family. So many good memories for both Wes and I from those years at church and in your home with the youth group. So sorry we couldn't be there to visit with the family, but you are in our prayers.

I remember when Bob came to preach when he came to preach as the church considered him for the role of pastor in Upper Kingsclear after the retierment of my grandfather, Rev. George Billington, a post that he would be appointed to fill. Bob was not a showman, but a humble and faithful man that led the church through a building campaign.
I remember his smile, his welcoming presence, his love of Scripture and his warmth. Although my immediate family moved to a different church, I continued to be involved with Awana there in my university years, and I was always made to feel welcome.
Thankful for him and his ministry. You will be feeling the loss of him and Jean. They are remarkable people. May God give your family peace.
