What a beautiful service this morning. Very grateful that livestreaming was made possible. It was so moving to hear all of the wonderful tributes, scripture, message, and music - all so fitting and honouring to the life of Uncle John. Our prayers are with you all Aunt Marion, Peter, Tim, Heather, Stacey, and all of your children and grandchildren in this time of deep loss. May you feel the Lord close at this time.

It was with deep sadness thar I learned of Uncle John's passing and I will remember his quiet way and thoughtfulness. I loved visiting the farm as a young person and always loved the way we could visit Grammy and yet also John and Marion. I recall a lot of fun in and around John and Marion's home as we would come and go with our cousins. Thinking of you all at this time as you say your final farewell and yet, how thankful are we, that Uncle John is now in his heavenly home!!! God bless you all, Linda ( McCready) Madill

To Peter, Heather, Tim and the whole McCready family my sincerest condolences for your loss. I first met John while working under his supervision at the sussex sawmill. He was an excellent supervisor and I enjoyed working with him . Then after a number of years I had a second opportunity to work with him again at the same mill. He was truly a great man. So sorry for your loss

To all the family, Wendy and I send our love and condolences to you. It hit me hard, Tim, when I read of his passing on your facebook page yesterday, as I hadn't realized he was so ill. I cherish the memories of both John and Marion's personal warmth and kindness whenever I would cross paths with them, often at the Bloomfield church. I think it unlikely we'll be able to get to the visitation or funeral, but we'll be certainly with you in thought and spirit.
