Very sad news to hear that a wonderful person like Bertha has passed. Perhaps now she flys free with the angels! She was a big part of my time spent near by at McDonalds point! Always welcoming, always warm and always time for a cup of tea when I visited as an adult ... Some of my fondest memories are spending time on the farm. I learned alot during those times and loved being there! She was a true lady and I'm sure she will be missed very much...

So very sorry to hear of Bertha's passing. I spent a fair amount of time at John and Bertha's as a kid. The door to their home was always open and many good memories were made there. She was always there for her friends, family and community. Rest Easy Bertha❤️

My heart goes out to all of Berthas family,
She was a beautiful soul. She cared for my grandmother for quite a long time
Gram loved her and Berths was so sweet to her even laying beside her when Gram wouldn't get up
(Gram was a little stubborn) Bertha treated her with love and kindness at all times. May she rest in peace I loved that women to bits.
