Obituary of Steve Crawford
It is with great sadness that the family of Steven Ernest Crawford announce his sudden passing which occurred on Monday, March 24, 2025 at his home in Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, on December 16, 1967, he was the son of the late Herbert and Shirley (Frazee) Crawford of Norton, NB.
Steve is survived by his sister Sue MacDonald (Steve) of Norton, NB, and her children Matt, Chelsi and Caleb; Heather’s children: Otty, Nick and Ina; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was lovingly called GUS (Great Uncle Steve) by his great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his many close friends and by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Steve was predeceased by his partner Darren Harrison; sister Heather Justason and brother-in-law Randy Justason; grandparents: Otty and Jean Frazee and Herbert and Grace Crawford.
Steve worked for twenty-two years at Funeral Directors Choice and currently was an employment specialist with Hire Potential in Saint John. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease. To know him was to love him, and he had many friends who he loved like family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center (506-839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29th, 2025 at 11:00AM from Norton United Baptist Church, 41 Church St, Norton, NB. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
