We had the pleasure of working with Garry for many years. He had the ability to get the job done, and still be able to take time out to help others. He was a great guy, dedicated to his family, and he will surely be missed. Sending heartfelt condolences to his entire extended family. Gary was a couple years older than myself going through school but I will always remember him being one of the "wickham boys" that claimed a main bench in the lobby. His smile warmed the room and even though we didn't know each other if I ever saw him out and about after high school he always said hello to a fellow alumni. Rest in peace Gary, enjoy the wherever that open road takes you.

My sincere condolences to all Garry's family. I enjoyed talking with Garry while he and his father were cutting wood. He was always willing to help, offering to do things without being asked. My memory will always be that he was doing too much, but I think that for Garry doing too much was probably his normal.
