Jack was a great brother.He taught me how to ride a bike, We use to play tackle football on the front lawn. When I knocked him down he didn,t even get mad. I loved going to Pennfield to watch him drag race. He often won. One time I got to be on the pit crew.

A 40 year friendship just had the pause button pushed, until the day we meet again. Jack's stories and constant barrage of wild idea's will be missed. It is hard to think of not seeing Jack pull in my driveway on a Saturday afternoon for a quick drink before he heads back to finish his 6 hour lawn mowing job. Over the drink we would always solve most world problems.

It is with sadness that I learned of Jack's passing. It is obvious that he touched many lives. In the financial crises of 2009/2010 I had no work and my mental health was suffering. Jack gave me a job as a contractor and asked me on a couple of occasions if I was making enough money to which I replied....yes Jack. I will be forever grateful to him for that job.
In times of grief and sorrow one should focus on the joy, happiness and love that we received because of them. Knowing most of his sibling's and children It is important to me that they know we grieve with them. Try to celebrate his life as he was known for making us laugh and smile.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Jack was in our graduation class of 1972 (the small total of 21 of us). The last time I saw Jack was at our 40th reunion in 2012 at Holly's in Hampton. Such a sad loss for all of you. I remember Jack as a young man after waiting on him at RBC, a sweet, young, pleasant fellow and always a grin. Saw him many times since and he never loss that charm. Jack was one of the hardest working men that I have ever known. I remember seeing him driving his logging truck back when I was a kid and him tooting the horn for us, to put a smile on our faces. In later years I had the pleasure of seeing him daily when he would stop by the office to check in and have some laughs. He was passionate about his business and keeping his employees employed. The man never stopped working. The woodlands has truly lost a legend. His infectious smile will be missed. My deepest condolences to the family.
