So very sorry to hear of Rita's passing. I have many fond memories of her from growing up years. The last time I saw her was at Dad's 90th birthday party. She was a joy to see, very cheerful and dressed to the nines. She was a lovely lady and will be greatly missed.

My sincere condolences to the Munro family. My family had a summer camp below the Munro family home in Keirsteadville. Rita made our summers special by welcoming us into her home and for gracing us with her warm and kind spirit that she imprinted on her children. Rita and her family represented everything good about country living - neighbourly, friendly and industrious.
Thank you for posting some of her family photos. It's wonderful to see how her life was blessed with many healthy years to enjoy her growing family. She has left a legacy of many fun and fond memories.

Your Mum was such a beautiful lady, I never met her but every time that the ferry was down and we had to drive around the bay I always looked up at her house and thought of her.
