It is with great sadness that the family of Rose Marie Ricketson, announce her passing which occurred on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Sussex, NB on April 29, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Shirley (Myers) Landry.
Rose was a kind and devoted woman who found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and warmth. She had a natural way of helping others, always offering a listening ear or a helping hand to those in need. Deeply committed to her family, Rose was a steady source of support, encouragement, and strength. Her caring nature and generous spirit touched everyone around her, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Rose is survived by her loving husband Stephen Ricketson of Norton, NB; children: Connie Koltusky (Lucas) of Apohaqui, NB, Chris Ricketson (Karmin) of Edmonton, AB and Amanda Bizeau (Shane) of Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren: Alison, Robert, Ashton, Riley, Quinton, Destin, Carter and Sophia; brothers David Flemming (Jennifer) of Norton, NB, and Stephen Flemming (Amy) of Norton, NB; sisters: Ann McLaughlin of Norton, NB, Lynn Urquhart of Norton, NB, and Beverley Floyd of Sussex, NB; sister-in-law Joanne Landry; brother-in-law Bruce Ricketson (Katherine); as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by her brother Henry Landry; brothers-in-law: Paul McLaughlin, Brian Urquhart, Bruce Floyd and Darrell Ricketson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, and will be held privately.
