The BelleIsle and Patsy are two wonderful memories I will always cherish. I always enjoyed our years spending the summer in our trailer at Websters Beach and sharing sing songs around the bonfire with your Mum. She love to sing and harmonize. I was in Bellisle a few years ago with some women staying in a farmhouse that a friend of mine had bought. I was out for a walk in the morning and who stopped me by the roadside but Patsy. I was so delighted she recognized me " Bethy Kelly ". We had a lovely chat. She looked great and it was wonderful to see her. We got caught up on my family members and to hear her hearty laugh again brought back those wonderful memories of sitting around the campfire. Loved it when she would strum the Uke and sing in harmony to all those old songs. My condolences to the family and cherish the memories of her hearty laugh and sing songs.

Joanne and Erven and the rest of the family our sincere condolences. I met Pat all those years ago when we joined the crew at Pirate's Cove. Pat welcomed us like she knew us our whole life. She invited us to her cabin on the beach for parties and campfires where there was music and great times always. Your grandmother Marjorie was so much fun for all of us as well. I am so sorry to read about Patsy. Being Peter's older sister, I had met her in the late 50's in Champlain Heights. I left Saint John in 1968 and It wasn't until 1989, when having supper in a bar in Clearwater Fla, that i said to my wife, I know that lady over there, my wife said you think you know everyone. I passed by her table and said "hello Patsy" and she was astounded that I recognized her after so many years. She was in Florida looking at the small trailer that she and Bill had bought off a guy in Fredericton, we met the next day and saw her purchase and we parted. I know that she was involved with Peter and his ventures into the music business with a singer from New Brunswick. All my best to the entire family and especially to Peter, a life long friend. David, Judy , and Joanne... ...my sincere sympathy at the passing of your mother-she had such vitality, loved life All of you were an important part of my teen years, neighbours in the country .It was always a pleasure to hear Patsy's voice visiting in the kitchen at home-an update of activities,organizing a trip, activity, or maybe a bridge game. I was a student starting at UNB, coming from Montreal, no accommodations. Pat located room mates, an apt.,and loaned furniture....which Bill (seems to me she often said Billy) delivered to the door. Patsy was a close neighbour when I was growing up in Millidgeville. Peter Leggett, Doug Trecartin and I started school together and we remain friends to this day. It was great for Doug and me to join the Legget (Giggey) family at Bates Barn this summer while celebrating Charlie Cook's anniversary. Pat and her daughter did the heavy lifting for that wonderful day. Our deepest condolences to all Patsy' family. She will be missed!

We had the honour to get to know Pat through duplicate bridge; Pat also shared her love of curling with our Pat...they often shared stories about the Brier and "that wonderful handsome Brad Gushue". It has been a real pleasure to call up Pat these last four years as I organized our friendly online bridge games...I was always met with her bright cheerful voice. At the end of every single game she never failed to type her standard "thanks everyone for another wonderful game". The only sadness we have is ours as we will miss her. Pat's strongest desire was to live out her life in her sanctuary by "The Bay". She always had an infectious smile and twinkle in her eye! Each of us is better to have met and known you Pat.

I can tell you that Your Mom was one of the finest people that I had the pleasure to meet . She always treated me with kindness and respect and love . She loved to laugh and make you feel at home or part of the family. I will miss her positive attitude and great food and humour.I have several of her recipes and enjoy them often . I know the loss you feel ,will subside over time ,but her memory will not! She leaves behind a large family who’s job it is now to pick up the torch of positiveness ! and shine bright as she would expect us to. I will miss her and hope to see her again someday ! Hugs
