So sorry to hear of Blain's passing. His Springfield family are a big part of my teenage memories. Blain was responsible for giving me the nickname of "kitten" at a ball game when I was 12. That name stuck all through high school and into my later years. He definitely lit up the room as you mentioned. My condolences to his immediate family and those still in the Belleisle Bay area.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Blaine's passing. My deepest condolences to Sue and the rest of the family. He was definitely a man who owned a room! I loved seeing him on his visits to Sussex. Thinking of my Morrell family, i have so many memories of Blaine,i could go on and on, my memorys are mostly when we were growing up and our switchboard days, i remember how he loved country music and if Blaine was around, the country music would be playing.i remember cowboy boots, Blaine was the funniest person i know and could always bring a smile, In latert years he would call often and we would talk about the past, he was always checking up on me and my health.
